Your project is private to you and anyone you invite.

Your manuscript is private by default

Nobody sees your project except you and anyone you explicitly invite as a collaborator or reviewer. Nobody trains AI models on your writing, and Endra Studio never sells your data.

AI is off until you turn it on

AI is off for every project until its owner turns it on in that project’s settings. AI never writes or changes your work. With it on:

• Ember, the assistant, reads your story bible — characters, locations, outline, and the titles, synopses and scene cards of your chapters and scenes — but not your manuscript’s prose. It runs on Anthropic.
• Meaning search sends your manuscript to OpenAI in passages of about 300 words to build its search index, and sends what you type into the search the same way. Only the index is kept, and turning AI off deletes it.

When we look at your content

Only when you ask us for help, to investigate abuse, or when the law requires it. When we sign in to your account to help you, it’s recorded.

What we collect

Account information (email, name), and basic usage data that keeps Endra Studio running. Details on exactly what’s collected and why are in the full Privacy Policy.

Your data is yours

You can export a complete copy of everything in a project at any time, in formats that don’t depend on Endra Studio to open.
