Exporting to .docx

Export your manuscript to a formatted Word document, complete with chapter breaks, page numbers, and your author name on the title page.

When it’s time to send your manuscript somewhere that expects a Word document (an editor, an agent, a submission portal), Endra Studio exports one directly.

Exporting

From the Export page in the sidebar, choose .docx and select Export. The download includes your full manuscript in reading order, with:

  • Chapter breaks as page breaks
  • Formatting preserved: bold, italics, headings, alignment, and lists
  • Images embedded directly in the document
  • Your author name from your author profile on the title page

Manuscript-style formatting

If your paragraph style preference is set to manuscript style, exported paragraphs use indentation instead of spacing between them, matching standard manuscript submission format.
