Version history

Endra Studio saves a snapshot each time you save, so you can always look back at, or restore, an earlier version of a scene.

Every save creates a snapshot, so a wrong turn in a rewrite is never the end of a scene.

Opening version history

From the editor toolbar, open Version History to see a list of saved snapshots for the document you’re in, newest first.

Previewing a version

Select any snapshot in the list to preview it without leaving the document you’re currently in. Nothing changes until you explicitly restore it.

Restoring a version

Once you find the version you want, select Restore. This replaces the current content with that snapshot, but your current version is itself saved as a new snapshot first. Restoring never destroys work; it just becomes something you can step forward from again.
