Email notifications

Which emails Endra Studio sends, what each switch on the notifications page controls, and how to turn any of them off in one click.

Four kinds of optional email, each with its own switch under Account → Notifications. Every one of them also carries a one-click unsubscribe link in its footer, so you can turn a kind off from the email itself without signing in.

The switches

  • Review activity — a reader finishes your draft, or a reading round closes.
  • Reminders — an invitation is about to expire, a support ticket is waiting on you, or your streak is on the line tonight: if you have a streak of three days or more and haven’t hit today’s goal, one email says how many words would keep it. It goes out once a day at midnight UTC, which is the afternoon or evening in the Americas. Where that time falls overnight or in the morning, as in Europe and Asia, no streak reminder is sent. If you wrote offline, it counts the moment you sync.
  • Weekly recap — once each Sunday, your time: your words this week against last, writing days, streak and rest days, your level, badges earned, and challenge pace when one is on. When there’s a short note from the studio that week, it rides along.
  • Product updates — what changed when a release ships. A few times a month at most.

Each switch saves as soon as you flip it.

What can’t be turned off

Sign-in links, invitations, plan changes, receipts and replies to your support tickets are the mail an account can’t work without, so they have no switch.
