Goal streaks with rest days, and your Scrivener project in Endra Studio.
New
Your streak now counts the days you hit your daily word goal, and banked rest days cover the days you miss. Writing also earns badges and writer levels, and you can join November Draft 2026 with a goal of your own.
A weekly recap email every Sunday, and, in the Americas, a reminder when your streak is at risk. Turn either off in Account → Notifications.
Import a Scrivener 3 project. Back it up as a zip in Scrivener and drop it in. Your Draft folder becomes the manuscript, and your research, character sheets, and locations come across with it.
Character names link themselves as you type, with no @ needed, and each scene that names a character shows up on their page. Click a linked name to open the character, or to stop linking that name.
Add a table to any document with /table.
Chapters, parts, books, and notes each have a Notes block.
Once a project reaches 5,000 words, the Studio asks you one question about what has frustrated you so far.
Improved
The scene card is now a tab in the info bar. Expand it to fill the editor pane, or press ⇧⌘\ (Ctrl+Shift+\ on Windows).
Keyboard shortcuts use ⌘ on a Mac and Ctrl everywhere else. Five moved off keys that bold, italic, or the browser already used: sidebar ⌘/, info bar ⌘, focus mode ⇧⌘F, typewriter mode ⇧⌘Y, and spell check ⇧⌘X.
Set a chapter’s title and subtitle from the chapter’s page, or from the scene card on its first scene.
Pictures in an imported Word document come in as images.
The dashboard has a new layout, and drafts you are reviewing for other writers have their own page.
Project exports include which characters appear in each scene, along with the roles you gave them.
Fixed
A scene has one POV character. Choosing a new one changes the old one’s role.
Accented letters in imported .txt files now come through correctly.
The spelling popover stays open when you click back into the Studio window.
