What Endra Studio collects, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it.

Endra Studio is operated by Endra Studio ("we", "us"). Questions about this policy go to hello@endrastudio.com.
Your email address, your name, and a password if you set one. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
Everything you create in Endra Studio: manuscripts, notes, characters, locations, plot boards, boards, comments, draft rounds, uploaded images, and the version history behind them. We store it so we can show it back to you, sync it between your devices, and share it with collaborators and readers you invite. It is not used for anything else.
When you send a draft round, the people you invite get an account tied to their email address so they can open the draft. Their reactions, notes and answers are stored with your project and shown to you. A reader sees only the drafts they have been sent, never the rest of your project.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Stripe holds your card details; we never see your card number. We keep a record of your plan and its status.
We record which features are used and how often, using PostHog, so we can see what is working and what is broken. This is tied to your account, not anonymous, so we can follow a bug report back to what happened. It does not include the text of your manuscript.
Our servers log requests (IP address, browser, time, the page or action) for security and debugging. Logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Nothing in Endra Studio uses AI to read or change any part of your project. We use AI tools in building and supporting the product itself; they have no access to your project data. If we add an AI assistant later it will be opt-in, and you will be able to keep it out of your studio entirely.
We use a small number of service providers to run Endra Studio:
Each of them processes data only to provide that service to us. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your content with anyone you have not invited, unless the law requires it.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a cookie plus browser storage for settings like the sidebar and theme. PostHog sets a cookie to tell your sessions apart. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your content stays as long as your account does. If you delete a project, it is removed along with its version history. If you ask us to delete your account, your content is deleted; billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
You can export a complete copy of any project from inside the app, in open formats. You can correct your account details in Settings. Email us to delete your account, which deletes your content. If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you further rights over your data (such as the EU, UK or California), email us and we will honour them.
Endra Studio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. The date at the top is the last change.
